René Gauthreaux: Instagram comic artist - Tom Ray's Art Podcast 201018

René Gauthreaux has been creating autobiographical comics on Instagram this past year. But before that, he had gone out and tried a number of different things including starting a music zine and traveling to another town to break into the comic business. But there were things that stopped him along the way. He tells me the story about how it took really breaking down his fear of rejection to feel happy about the art he decided to make.

Caroline Lee: Illustrator and Podcaster - Tom Ray's Art Podcast 210418

Caroline Lee is a podcaster based in England who in the past few years has started learning illustration and graphic design. I have actually known Caroline and her husband Dave Lee for many years from their podcast The Bugcast.  So I was really happy when Caroline had agreed to be on the show to talk about her new venture to learn illustration to expand her career. Plus, it's always nice to talk to them! We discuss all the online drawing prompts and lessons she's been taking and her experience from using a tablet to trying to figure out vector programs like Adobe Illustrator. I'm always fascinated by the random conversations that are had while working on something. BTW if you want to learn more about his tabletop game Hivernation he made this video https://youtu.be/k66a6K09Opk

Sore tongue.

I don't remember biting it yesterday. Could I have done it in my sleep?
