S03 Episode 3: James Kreul, Filmmaker

Episode image card

James Kreul has been very involved with films in Madison, he runs programs like The Rooftop Cinema at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and the upcoming Mills Folly Microcinema at the Arts + Literature Laboratory to name a few. The first time I went to one of his underground film screenings was last year at Coney Island Studio and I knew I wanted to meet with him to be on the show. I finally got a chance to talk to him on the north side of Madison at Warner Park.

Matchbook artwork.

Could be a fun illustration exercise.

Wrong drink.

It was really odd-tasting since I thought I was going to be drinking carbonated water. I've done it the other way too from time to time, grabbing a water when I thought it was a beer.

Editing video.

In the past, I would have gone to see a band play on Friday night. Also here is the video I was talking about https://www.tomrayswebsite.com/2021/01/rl-stine-wrote-this-pee-wee-herman-book.html
