Storm.

It was like it was raining inside.

Why do it?

I know I want to make the things I do and I'm always thinking about what I could do, but why?

A few generations.

It was a good day. Talked a lot about so many things.

Large ninja turtle doll.

It was like that contortionist from the Ocean's 11 movie folding the limbs into that box.

I think the post is set up to show in a 50-mile radius hopefully I can change that.

Vintage Illustrations from the Walt Disney Studios, Mother Goose Book from 1952

A large number of vintage illustrations and artwork by Walt Disney historically go uncredited. All the other published drawings in books from this time period would credit the author and the artist behind it. Walt Disney would only say that it came from the "Walt Disney Studio".  So while this artwork is still fantastic in design and color, I have no idea who the artist is behind this illustrated book I have here: Walt Disney's Mother Goose from 1952. If you would like to see more of the books that I've collected from resale shops over the years I also sell them in my eBay store . Click image to view as a gallery. I collect a lot of books from this time period for the artwork looking for inspiration. Along with the color scheme in this book, I like the way the drawings weave around the story text. Another reason why the artist should get credit. That is a bit of extra effort to add for no real payback. You can buy some of the vintage illustrated books I have from my

Job posting.

It's nice to feel like the stuff I'm trying out is growing a bit.

Jem, Pee-Wee, Mr. Rembrandt & Care Bears - Tom Ray's Pop-Culture Roadshow May 23, 2020

Check out all the retro pop-culture items in my eBay Store - https://ebay.to/2vMYStC Subscribe to my YouTube Channel - Tom Ray's YouTube Channel Another episode of my "Tom Ray's Pop-Culture Roadshow", where I look at toys that I've collected and try to find out a little history or interesting facts about them. This time on the show I look for the story behind three books I have from the 1980s: Jem and the Holograms, Big Top Pee-Wee & The Care Bears. Plus, an artistic robot toy from the 1970s called Mr. Rembrandt by Ideal Toys. In this video: Jem and the Holograms Jem Night of a Thousand Earrings book - 1986 I have this book here called Jem night of a thousand earrings. Looking up the history of Jem and actually watching the show I forgot how utterly absurd the storyline is.  Jerrica who lives a double life as Jem. Synergy is a synthesizer that was created by Jerrica’s father to be the ultimate audio-visual entertainment synthesizer and it was bequeathed to her

Bike rims and sidewalks.

Also checked to see if there were more wasps inside . There wasn't so that's good.

Guy on the roof.

Like 99% sure.

Stop lights.

Then I spent the rest of the drive wondering what the lights did for the cross-traffic? It was very confusing.

Warehouse in Milwaukee.

We were pretty happy to meet the people. It was a good place to find for us.

Wasps.

The power is still off.

Vintage Crusader Rabbit illustration drawing artwork by Robert Bemiller & Jan Neely from 1960

Here are some vintage artwork illustrations I have that are from a  Crusader Rabbit book from 1960 called "Crusader Rabbit in Bubble Trouble" . The drawings in this book were created by  Robert Bemiller & Jan Neely .  The book is based on the limited animated cartoon for Crusader Rabbit that was on television at the time. I've actually posted another book that one of the artists Jan Neely was involved in recently. An illustrated Hanna-Barbera book for the old Pixie and Dixie cartoons . If you would like to see more of the books that I've collected from resale shops over the years I also sell them in my eBay store to help support my podcast! You can buy some of the vintage illustrated books I have from my eBay store !

Meet ups.

Both of these people I met through the podcast I do . It reminds me of why I like doing it. I don't think I ever would have had the chance to get to know them if I hadn't started it.

Great Grand Parents Old Place.

I really don't know what happened? And it was really loud too. I felt so dumb.

Bird head.

They've flown by my head before but never into it.

I enjoy documenting the stuff I sell to remember it since it won't live on my shelf anymore.

Vintage Illustration Artwork of Clare McKinley from 1949

This is some vintage illustration artwork by Clare McKinley from my library of old books that I collect. This artwork is from a Book Clare made called Animal Parade from 1949. If you would like to see more of the books that I've collected from resale shops over the years I also sell them in my eBay store to help support my podcast! The book is actually like a small zine. It's about 4 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide and has a cardstock cover. There are other versions of the book that have a cardboard cover.  I was unable to find any more information about Clare McKinley except that this artist had made several books during this time period. All of them in a similar style. The style of this artwork is just so vintage children's book and that is why I got it. It's hand-drawn and just so perfect. You can buy some of the vintage illustrated books I have from my eBay store !

Haircut?

Truthfully I really haven't cared for the most part. Just know that it's been a while.

Ice cream.

Then when I finish I kinda feel like I missed out on something.

Research.

So much stuff I know I should do but where to start first. That's the problem.
