Back at work.

Not really feelin' it. Even kinda felt colder than yesterday.

Come on, we all do it.

Borrow the car.

The car had been parked in the snow all week.

Odd things.

When stuff like that happens at the same time it's easy to start thinking they're related somehow.

He literally jumped up and down when he realized he already asked us. We could hear him laughing somewhere in the restaurant all night.

S04 Episode 4: Steev Baker, Shauna Koszegi - Libraries and Landing Pages.

Steev Baker & Shauna Koszegi work at the library. They spend their whole day trying to get people to think about it as a place that has tons of resources for creative people. So how do you get people to come to a place that has just always been there? One of the things they did is start a podcast about it. Listen to the episode Listen on: Apple Podcasts | RadioPublic | Google Podcasts | YouTube You can check out Steev and Shauna's podcast at Tallest Building In Town Music for the show by Lorenzo's Music Links to the landing pages I'm testing for the book MailChimp page - Google Sites page - Get my graphic novel "Then This Happened..." on Amazon -

We had a scare with Spike a while ago that worked out but he is getting old.

I not sure why the pulling the top off the can made the soup fly out like that.

Flying turkey.

I work in a two story building and it flew up to the roof.

Good hair day.

Snow storm.

What are they trying to prove?

I set up a new landing page to promote my book for some ads I started that explains it to people that had never heard of it before.

Temperatures dropped down to single digits here today.

S04 Episode 3: Bradley Flora - Photography, Painting & Finding Multiple Outlets.

There was an art installation at a local coffee shop in the fall and the artist, Bradley Flora heard my podcast and asked if I wanted to stop by and check it out. We ended up sitting down to talk, and he told me about how he’s been expanding on what he wants to do, going from photography to painting. Listen to the episode Listen on:  Apple Podcasts  |  RadioPublic  |  Google Podcasts  |  YouTube I also ponder ideas about other options for income besides freelancing. Check out Bradley's work on his website Or you can follow him on Instagram  @lost_thought Music for the show by Lorenzo's Music

Resale stores.

Had to stay focused on only getting what we came for.

Blood draw.

It was a lot of effort for something I don't want to do.

A lot of places put the same amount of espresso in the large as they do in a medium

My body is a wonderland.

Strip mall.

Which made me think about air guitaring to the " Number of the beast " album by Iron Maiden

After he said that it was kind of all I could think of.

Flea market.

S04 Episode 2: Zines & Personal Comics With Emily Mehr

My wife and I were taking a weekend trip to Minnesota. I took that opportunity to meet someone that lives there that I'm friends with on Instagram, Emily Mehr . Listen to the episode Listen on: Apple Podcasts | RadioPublic | Google Podcasts | YouTube Like me, Emily also draws a personal daily comic and you can check out her work on Instagram.

Hit it.

And later in a different area, we saw some other people carrying a bed frame.

The whole reason I started the show was to meet people and aside from me losing that interview file days like this really make me happy.

We're also trying to figure out how we want to finance this business venture. I'm pretty excited about moving forward.

Cafeteria guy.

Was just doing that in the cafeteria at work.

Annual checkup.

So I have to go back now.

I know I'm not alone in thinking this way. I do something I enjoy but just feel everything else in the world is so much better. But it's not like I'm gonna stop doing it. It's a vicious cycle.

Call back.

Actually, I had Merijoy call him back she knew all the questions we were going to ask.

It totally sounds like something Prince would do, doesn't it?

It's an internet cartoon series I made back when my boys were little called " The adventures of Xylus and Dexter ". It's kind of old school like Rocky and Bullwinkle and kind of disturbing like Ren and Stimpy. You can watch it on Amazon Video

Extra day.

I still don't really feel like the holidays even happened yet and they're over.

Bad morning.
