Different ways I make money with my art blog - Tom Ray's Art Podcast

Listen to the podcast on Apple Podcasts | Google Podcasts | Spotify | RSS In this episode of the podcast, I talk about different ways I make money with my art blog website. I didn't have a store or anything really to sell when I started out. So I used other ways to make money doing what I love as I was creating things to sell in my store. One way was by posting as an Amazon Affiliate. I also talk about how I started selling my webcomic as a book on Amazon ! Booster.

It was a pretty cool mask.

I've been pacing a lot.

I'm glad I didn't have to go on my trip next month with a broken screen.

I started my art website with no products to sell - Tom Ray's Art Podcast

Listen to the podcast on Apple Podcasts | Google Podcasts | Spotify | RSS On the podcast, I continue my series talking about some behind-the-scenes information about what I do to create and manage my websites and my own business. I explain how this site actually didn't start as a podcast. I didn't even start out drawing my daily webcomic at first. I started out with just an idea, no artwork, and nothing to sell. But after posting I found a voice for what I wanted to do and it grew into something I never expected. I wanted to share this to help inspire anyone else out there to see what can happen when you start out with nothing. 📬 Join my email list:  Sign up to get a "call out for artists" when I'm booking interviews for the podcast!  Go here to sign up

Middle school.

Even more confusing is how can a scent encapsulate an entire time period?

Like an episode of Sesame Street going on in my head.

Be quiet.

It was so odd. And the whole place was loud. Not sure how we were making it worse.

I'm doing this because I am going to Prague in November to speak at a conference and I wasn't able to schedule interviews. In this episode, I wanted to talk about starting a website and the different services that are out there, including the one that I use for this site. 📬 Join my email list:  Sign up to get a "call out for artists" when I'm booking interviews for the podcast!  Go here to sign up

Looking.

It's true. They were looking at us as if they thought we couldn't see them.

Travel case.

No luck yet but I still got a few people checking to see what they got.

Rage-y.

I know I'll get there eventually so who cares.

Cursor.

I don't know why I didn't notice it sooner.

Rude.

Does the person think they're gonna be like "Yes sir, right away sir!" No, they're just going to get annoyed.

I'm going to Prague!

I'm going to Prague in November to talk about music and technology I have exciting news! I've been asked to go to Prague in November to speak at the Ubuntu Summit about music and technology.

That was nice.

I've been there several times and they're always nice to me.

Walkthrough.

Once I was about halfway through it felt less awkward.

License plate.

I never noticed the license plate before so why is it affecting me now?
