Every year making my book kinda sneaks up on me.

Another reason I dislike winter.

There is a character I was messing around with a while back that I called "Horsey Headface" . How it started I was originally messing around with this as an idea for a children's book character. I drew it as a kid dressed in a cowboy getup in the vector program Inkscape in an old '60s children's book style. But then I decided to give it a horsehead. Horsey Headface Children's book idea But truthfully, by the time I was done, I didn't really do anything with it and felt like drawing it all out in a vector program took too long. Drawing it more cartoon-like I felt like trying to make the character goofier. So I was trying different cartoon-like styles. I drew this version of Horsey Headface tap dancing on the  Google Keep app  on my phone. Horsey Headface sketch from my phone I kinda felt like I would enjoy drawing the character this way a little more. Also, it wouldn't take me as long to do. I thought maybe I could even animate it so I drew a version o

It works now but I'm not sure how I got there. But it works! 

I could use my phone though so that was ok.

When things don't work I feel like I'm wasting my time. 

It's the same place I ordered the lights for my studio. And those arrived just fine.

We have the manual but haven't read it. We just keep pushing buttons randomly to see what they do.

We'll see what happens.

I told them I wasn't going to do that. So no idea what they wanted me to pick up for them.

My mind really does wander when I'm driving.

It makes me think of those people becoming their parent's commercials on TV.

It was that mixture of being startled and relieved laughter.

I sometimes expect the book reader to sigh before starting the sentence again.

It's always my least favorite part.

I get being distracted and setting down the wrong thing. But why did I throw them?

The new year just makes me feel like I have two weeks of catching up to do first.
