Not warm enough.

And it wasn't even that nice out just better than it's been.

It was also the cashier's first day.

Now I get why they mostly use outdoor scents.

Accidentally sold something on Mercari I didn't have anymore - Tom Ray's Day 210226

Accidentally sold something on Mercari I didn't have anymore - Tom Ray's Day 210226 I show some of the vintage and retro toys and illustrated books I sold online today. But one of the items I sold on Mercari already sold somewhere else. Check out More vintage pop-culture items available in my eBay Store https://ebay.to/2vMYStC Plus, at the end of the video, I draw my daily autobiographical webcomic. This is a video of my daily life since I decided to sell collectibles and pop-culture items I collect on eBay to help support my art career instead of taking on freelance work.

More old files.

Earlier this month it was old animated cartoons that I had made. Now I found these old songs.

Spike dream.

Even though it was a spooky coincidence it was also kinda sweet at the same time.

Cartoon video.

At the time, I never noticed how much the encoding compressed the video. You can watch the video here -  https://www.tomrayswebsite.com/2021/02/looking-back-at-my-first-animated.html

Looking back at my first animated cartoon - Tom Ray's Day 210222

I just recently found the very first cartoon that I did. I have an idea for a cartoon that I want to do based on a recent character that I drew for a recent promo thing that I did. This is a pic from the video of the character I was originally looking for when this started. I swear I sat around and drew different sketch ideas of this character but I can't find them. So I've been going through sketchbooks and stuff, and then I'm like maybe I drew it digitally? So I've started searching on different hard drives.  As I did this I found a bunch of old artwork that I had . Then I started going deeper and deeper, all the way back to like the early 2000s when I animated my first cartoon. Back when I first got Flash animation software.  I'm looking at some of this stuff and it's kind of embarrassing. It's not that I'm that good now, it's just I'm looking at this now thinking, I would fix this and do that. And I still don't really know what the heck

It seemed fine at the time.

Sitting in the car.

I wondered how many other times I've accidentally made that face when I thought I recognized people?

Old files.

I'm thinking about making some videos where watch these old cartoons and talk about when I was making them.

No it doesn't.

After a few more minutes of this, I just gave up for the time being. Either way, it was not returned and it's been months now

New melody.

I don't know maybe it's alright, I'll have to give it another listen.

Snowstorm.

If I didn't go because of the snowstorm I wonder if I would have come up with a new idea myself otherwise?

Screen mirroring.

The problem was finding one that worked with an Android tablet and my Linux computer. Scrcpy is the first one that's worked properly so far.

Person running estate sale invites me to their warehouse! - Tom Ray's Day 210213

YouTube Channel - https://youtube.com/tmray I recently found out that a person I met that runs estate sales in Milwaukee just passed away. It reminded me of the time we first found out about his warehouse.  This video is from the past summer when I was at one of his estate sales for the first time looking for vintage retro items. He saw all of the stuff I was buying and tells me to go check out the warehouse he keeps his stuff at.  Sadly I don't have footage of us talking with him he didn't want to be on camera but it is a place we've visited many times after this video was made. I wanted to share how excited I was to find this great place. Plus, at the end of the video, I draw my daily autobiographical webcomic. This is a video of my daily life since I decided to sell collectibles and pop-culture items I collect on eBay to help support my art career instead of taking on freelance work. I often wonder what it would be like to just move to another country?

Posting videos.

You know, for the keyword searches. You can check out the video process here https://www.tomrayswebsite.com/2021/02/creating-animated-gifs-into-music-video.html

Creating Animated gifs into a music video for my band Lorenzo's Music song "With you" using FlipaClip

Lorenzo's Music - Creating Animated gifs into a music video "With you" using FlipaClip I recently did an animated video for my band Lorenzo's Music that was made entirely out of gifs and it was for a song that's called " With you ". One of the things I did when I was making the song itself was just kind of drawing some stuff. I had this character that I did once when I was just trying to do some animation in a program called Blender while we were making our Spaghetti Mid-Western EP .  I was just trying to do this animation idea and I thought I might want to do a video for it and then the ep went on and I was still learning how to do Blender and it got kind of backed up so I never did. I had been reading some old 1950s four-color mystery/ghost comics and I watch a lot of old monster movies and things like that. I wanted to do something in that realm. While we were recording the song or while we were mixing it during that time I was using a program on my

It also kinda seemed like the Brady Bunch house from the TV show.

Cartoonist Jeaux Janovsky on starting up his own Harvey Comics style series

On the podcast, I got the chance to meet cartoonist Jeaux Janovsky . He told me about a new comic he plans on creating that will be in the style of those old four-color Richie Rich style Harvey comics . From the interview: I'm in the middle of trying to start up my own comic book series with one of my characters named Tuna Tulip .  Her Instagram handle is @tunatulipfanclub .  I'd seen the drawings but I didn't realize that it was a new comic series that was coming out? I'm hoping to do a three-issue mini-series with her and they're gonna be in the vein of old Harvey Comics .  I've been like using an iPad to kind of replicate the folds and stuff and the colors, like the bend and dots and stuff like that. I wanted to look like a beat-up comic except have it be like a Harvey comic book with a sort of surreal David Lynch or Tim Burton kind of a twist to it. A little dark but cute like a lot of my artwork.  Yeah, there's like some nastiness under the surface o

Daylight savings.

It's in 38 days. The sun being out later doesn't change what I do, it just makes it feel better.

It was more fun that way.
