S03 Episode 10: Stitch Boom Bang, Embroiderer

Episode Card Image

The first thing I saw by Heather Boggs of Stitch Boom Bang, was a portrait of Hall & Oates she embroidered on a doily. After seeing that, I kinda needed to meet this person. And it turned out she was also a fan of zines. So we met each other at a zine event that was happening in the downtown Madison library.

And in another one of my pop-up interviews, I meet Elliot and his friend who walked up to my booth at Hibernation Liberation and asked what it was that I do? So I turned on my recorder and showed them.

Bonus Episode: Tom Ray on the WFMU Radio Free Culture Podcast - S06E16 Tom Ray's Art Podcast

From 2010 - 2018 I used to do a show about creative commons and free culture music with a guy named Doug Whitfield called Music Manumit.

Years ago we were interviewed on the WFMU podcast Radio Free Culture with Cheyenne Hohman. I found this episode the other day and thought it would be interesting because I talk about my support of creative commons for art and music.

Missing label.

When I took the label back to the post office he told me I need to bring my own tape to put it on the package next time. I'm hoping there won't be a next time.

Old WFMU podcast interview.

They released it as two episodes. I'm gonna combine it into one. And it was from a few years ago so a lot of the music services I talk about don't exist anymore so I need to take those sections out too.
