A Beginner's Guide to Medibang Paint For Webcomics

I've been creating webcomics with Medibang Paint on my Android tablet for years.

I decided to make a new video for people who have not used Medibang to show why I use it and go over some of the tools that the program has that really help my creative process.

Comic Panel Creation Tool

One of the standout features of Medibang Paint is the Comic Panel creation tool. This tool simplifies the process of setting up your comic panels, allowing you to focus more on the creative aspects rather than the technical details. With just a few clicks, you can create perfectly sized and aligned panels, saving you time and effort.

Layers Management

Layer management is another powerful feature of Medibang Paint. The ability to create multiple layers allows artists to separate different elements of their artwork, such as sketches, inks, and colors. This separation not only helps in organizing the artwork but also provides flexibility in making adjustments without affecting other parts of the drawing.

Customizable brushes

The software offers a wide range of brushes that can be adjusted to suit your specific needs. I share tips on how I customize brushes for my desired inking effect.

Exporting Finished Comic

Medibang Paint lets you export your finished comic in high-quality formats like PNG and JPEG, and let's you control the DPI of the image so it can also be used for print.

Try it yourself

Overall, Medibang Paint is a fantastic free tool for anyone looking to create webcomics. Its intuitive design, coupled with many features, makes it my favorite. If you're eager to start your own webcomic I highly recommend using Medibang Paint.

Artwork for the original Candy Land game by Milton Bradley from 1955.

I have a vintage Candy Land game from 1955 by Milton Bradley and I was about to sell it so I thought I would add it to my personal art history course concept I've been doing . I'm going to try and see if I can find out how this game was created, designed and why? Here is what I found out about this game https://candy-land.fandom.com/wiki/Candy_Land_Wiki Candy Land is a board game about children exploring a world made out of candy and other sweets that originally came out in 1949. In every version of the game, there are a group of children that go through Candy Land. In the earliest versions of the game, it was a realistically drawn boy and girl. Drawing of the Candy Land kids I did on my phone ☝ https://board-games-galore.fandom.com/wiki/Candy_Land The game was designed in 1948 by Eleanor Abbott , while she was recovering from polio in San Diego, California. It's rumored that Eleanor also did the original artwork but I didn't find anything that...
